Y3 visit to Mallydams Wood

  • Monday 19th June (Brunel)
  In Term 6 Year 3 will be taking a closer look at how civilisations survived during the Stone-Age. To enrich the children’s learning we have planned a trip to Mallydam Wood, near Fairlight, where the children will be learning how to survive in the outdoors.   
  • Kingston Class will be visiting on Wednesday 7th of June 2017
  • Brunel will be visiting on Monday 19th June 2017.


Mallydams have received a grant in order for schools to take advantage of their wonderful surroundings and therefore there will be NO charge for this experience or the coach travel.  Your child will leave and return within school hours.   Please ensure:  
  • Pupils have a packed lunch and drink (more than one if very hot) 

(if your child is entitled to Free School Meals and would like a packed lunch provided, please indicate on the form below)


  • Pupils wear appropriate footwear  (no sandals or open toed shoes)


  • Pupils have a sun hat and sun protection if forecast warm
  • Pupils wear/bring a waterproof jacket
