The Great Fire of London comes to Little Ridge!

Earlier this week, our Y2 pupils took part in a workshop to help support their learning of the Great Fire of London. Children learned all about how, when and where the fire started and fun facts such as how Samuel Pepys buried his cheese in the garden!   As part of the drama session, children used their bodies and emotions to act out the story. Samuel Pepys wrote his famous diary in code and the children made their own codes to ask and answer questions.  Miss Patel said, 'The children thoroughly enjoyed taking part - this was a great aid to their learning and they had lots of fun in doing so.'  Take a look at some pictures from the day......
