Our Y3s recently went on a journey through time, piecing together the past using evidence and experimental archaeology. They took part in a fully interactive workshop designed to encourage them to consider the relationship between technological advancement and lifestyle from Stone Age to Iron Age. Children learnt how people in these times lived and had the opportunity to make arrow heads, did bow drilling and also made stone axes and clay pots. They took part in role play, dressed up and had their faces painted. During the day, they also investigated different metals such as iron, tin and copper and learnt how they were used in day to day life. Take a look at some of their photos!
Children return to school on Monday 25th February
Enjoy the February holiday!
