Learning about Fire Safety

This term Year 2 are learning about the Great Fire of London and Fire Safety. On Tuesday we were lucky enough to have Education Officer, Michael Warner, came to visit us and tell us all about what to do if there is a fire. He taught us about Stop Drop Roll and how to make a 999 call in case there is an emergency. The children were very excited and ask him some fantastic questions!

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service also carry out free Home Safety Visits by their specially trained advisers.  They can offer a wide range of advice around home safety, , check fire alarms etc.  call free on 0800 177 7069 or email homefire.safetyvisits@esfrs.org
