Canterbury and Surrey classes learn what is it like to be a Policeman

Our reception pupils have been talking about people who help us and what they themselves might like to be when they grow up.  To support their learning, one of our parents, PC Charlton came to visit the children in a police car.  PC Charlton spoke to the children about how the police can help us and talked to them about what they might do in an emergency such as getting lost.  He said it is really helpful if children know their name, address or the school they attend because then they can find their parents. 

All the children loved looking at the police car and learning the reason for using the blue lights and sirens.  Take a look……
