Y1 visiting Lifeboat Museum and Hastings Pier

6th June 2017

Dear Parents and Carers

Y1 visit to Hastings Lifeboat Museum and Pier – Thursday 22nd June

As part of our topic, ‘Oh I do like to be beside the Seaside’, Y1 classes will be visiting Hastings Seafront, the RNLI Lifeboat Museum and Hastings Pier.

Children will travel to and from school by coach during the school day.  They should wear their yellow PE shirts and comfortable trousers/shorts and shoes.  Depending on the weather, their red school jumpers and a raincoat would also be useful.   Please also ensure your child has sun cream and a hat provided.  Children will be carrying their belongings so will also need a rucksack/bag they can easily carry.

We will be having packed lunches and if you would like the school to provide one for your child, please indicate this on the reply slip below.

To cover the cost of the coach and donations to both the Lifeboat Museum and Pier Charity, the cost of this trip will be £3.50 per child.  Please complete the reply slip below (or handwrite a note/email info@arklittleridgeprimary.org  if unable to print this letter) by Friday 16th June.

Yours sincerely

Miss Furniss and Mrs Carrick
