Y3 Trip to Bexhill Museum

Friday 02 October
As part of our topic on Stone, Bronze & Iron Age, we have arranged for the children to visit the Bexhill Museum who will be running a workshop to support the children’s learning. They will have the opportunity to view the museums impressive collection of artefacts at close hand.

We will be travelling by coach; Brunel class will leave school at 9.30am and will return from the museum by approx. 1.00pm and Kingston class will leave school at 12.00pm returning by approx. 3pm. Therefore, usual drop off and pick up times will apply.

Y6 Ancient Greek Workshop

Thursday 08 October
We are pleased to inform you your child’s class will be taking part in a Living History Workshop on the 8th October which will be held within the school, during normal school hours. The day will involve the use of costumes, drama and historical artefacts.

There is no expectation for children to dress up for the day as costumes are provided by the provider.

Y4 Roman Workshop

Monday 12 October
We are pleased to inform you your child’s class will be taking part in a Roman Workshop on the morning of the 12th October which will be held within the school, during normal school hours. The workshop will involve the children being shown different Roman artefacts and taking part in different Roman themed activities. In the afternoon (as it is PE day) the children will take part in Roman themed sports events.

We would encourage all our pupils to come to school in a Roman themed outfit.

Y5 VR Space Workshop

Wednesday 14 October
We are pleased to inform you your child’s class will be taking part in a VR Space Workshop on the 14th of October which will be held within the school, during normal school hours. The day workshop offers an unparalleled journey where the entire class simultaneously pilots research vessels around planets and moons, delving deep into the wonders of the solar system. This interactive workshop is designed to ignite curiosity and inspire the next generation of scientists and astronaut.
