Y2 Trip to Drusillas

Monday 23 March
To support our topic on Living things and their Habitats, we have arranged to take Y2 children to Drusillas Park. They will have access to an educational workshop where they will learn about habitats and adaptions and handle animal artefacts, on a quest to explore the multitude of adaptations that animals have developed to suit their environments.

Y3 Visit to Hastings Old Town

Tuesday 28 April
We are pleased to inform you that Y3 will be visiting Hastings Old Town on Tuesday 28th April. This educational visit will support several areas of the curriculum and the children will visit a number of exciting learning activities:
• The Smugglers Caves, which links to our Science learning about rocks.
• St Clement’s Church, supporting their learning in Religious Education about Christianity.
• Hastings Fishermen’s Museum, where they will have the opportunity to meet the Museum Curator and learn more about local history.
