Boys’ Hoskins Cup Football congratulations!
Last week, footballers from Years 4, 5 and 6 went to the Pilot Field to compete in The Boys’ Hoskins Cup Football Tournament. After winning four of their group matches, our team got through to the quarter and semi-finals to play in the final which was between Ark Little Ridge and St Leonards C of E Primary. After 7 minutes of hard battling and determination, the whistle blew at 0-0, meaning only one thing - penalties! The boys took these with great composure and confidence, winning the final and securing the Hoskins Cup. Every single team member showed great sportsmanship, determination and encouragement for each other throughout the afternoon making our school, their parents and themselves very proud!
