On Thursday, a group of children from years 3, 4, 5 and 6 took part in the Sandown Cross Country event at Sandown school. In cold, wet and boggy conditions, all of the children really showed the other schools what it means to be a Little Ridger. Full of determination to do well, our runners braved these conditions and completed the gruelling course. Mr Mogan said, 'What really stood out was our community spirit; all of our children cheered with all their might for their school and offered words of encouragement, consolation and high fives to as many children as they could from other schools. Well done to every child that came along, they have really done us proud!'
